Every year on December 31 at midnight millions of people celebrate, toast each other and make a promise to themselves to change something for the following year. Many of you may know this habit like thought process as a New Years Resolution. In a recent study I went on a quest to see why most people rarely accomplish the goals they set out for themselves but more importantly, why almost know one accomplishes their New Years Resolution that they so desperately toasted to while sipping on champagne at midnight every year on December 31st.
In this article you are going to learn why the ripple effect is so powerful and will help you reach all of your goals making the things you do habit like and almost uncomfortable if you don’t do them. The ripple effect is a term that I learned about while reading the book “The Compound Effect By Darin Hardy” The ripple effect is the process of you taking small action steps that lead to huge gains in your life. Most people who have had tremendous success in their lives do so because they made a decision that they would never quit and consistently do something over and over again that moves them in the right direction in their life and business. The Ripple Effect Is The Secret To Creating Real Change In Life And Business because the individuals who are persistent and consistent simply move further because most people quit before the ripple effect can even take place.
Having success in life and business can be summed up by the story of the tortoise and the hare. If you want to create real change in life and business my advice to you is to study the story of the tortoise and the hare and keep it close to your heart like the Bible.
Changes You Can Make Today To Create Real Change In Life And Business:
There is no secret that information and investing in yourself will dramatically boost your ability to make money. This was powerful to me, but what made it more inspiring was the fact that that information came from Warren Buffet one of the richest men in the world. Personal Development and mindset is also a very important element of creating change in your life. When I would ask people questions about how to improve my personal value level they would tell me to read a book every month. Well months would go by and books would never get read. So when I understood the power of the ripple effect, I started to read one chapter of a book per day. Then it went to reading one chapter of a book in the morning when I woke up and at night before I went to bed.
I was then able to read 2 books per month. I started to read so many more books that I told myself I wish I would have leveraged this strategy in school. The bottom line is this, small actions taken seriously and executed over time will create huge changes and mind blowing results in your life and business.
That is why The Ripple Effect Is The Secret To Creating Real Change In Life And Business

Some very good points, thanks for sharing them with us. Jack Halleman
You know, Vince, this is great stuff…and a quite timely reminder. Too often we take too much of a big bite out of the cake and struggle to get it down (even choke on it), when a bite sizes would have allowed us to enjoy and finish the process efficiently.
Thanks for a timely reminder.
Thanks Dwight…Consistent baby steps everyday!
