What is the difference between a Leader and Mentor?

After getting back to the basics over the last 3 months…I realized something special.  Being a leader will provide you with a FULL TIME income that will support your family, But being a mentor will make you rich.   So this article is designed to help you understand the differences of being a Leader and mentor and why YOU want to be both.

When it comes to 2nd chances I believe in them because that’s is truly what this industry has been for me, a 2nd chance.  A lot of people that I still know to this day struggle in dead end jobs, it seems like every business I have involved myself  with over the last 4 years have resulted in staggering numbers and huge financial gains.  As you may know, I teach internet marketing techniques that I have learned from other internet marketing professionals.  The one thing that always gets swept under the rug is leadership and mentorship.  The thing that I notice the most is that the individuals who put themselves out there as leaders and mentors make ALL THE MONEY!

What I will attempt to do in this article is go deeper on this topic than what I have ever read or seen before and without a doubt if you read this article in its entirety you will gain the knowledge I believe necessary to end any financial struggle you may have.  You see Billion dollar brands pay Millions Of Dollars to bring in professionals to teach leadership and mentorship.  WHY?  Because that is the only way that company will be successful and stay a BIllion Dollar brand.

So what is the difference between a leader and a mentor?

Leaders share value. Mentors show results.  That’s it!

The best part of all of this is that it has nothing to do with the amount of money you make.

If you simply share great information and value with others you are a Leader.  Strive to give everything you can to help others and it will come back to you and that is all you need to do to become a leader.  While I was in the process of launching NetDivvy, I was able to become a regional director with the company in literally 2 months sponsoring over 50 people in that time.  I did it from scratch, without mentioning it to anyone I new in the industry or blasting my marketing list which sits at roughly 20K people.  I took great pride in this because it proved that 1 I’m not living from things I did in the past and that my leadership, mentorship and marketing strategies work.  My entire team would not go to the company webinars, they would come to my training webinars.  I would simply share value with them and show them the results I was getting.  I truly believe leadership as powerful as you very best marketing strategy.  If you have one without the other it won’t work and you will leave money on the table.

If you want to be a mentor you must be able to show results.  Again this has nothing to do with money.  If you can show a person how to generate 1 lead per day…guess what? YOU are a mentor.  But it is the act of leadership that breeds great mentorship!  Remember That!

Invest in yourself and make sure that when you stack up your books next to your TV that your books stand taller.  It’s said that you can tell that a person is rich by the size of there library and that you can tell a person is poor by the size of there TV?
